From the ground-up

Designing from the ground up maximises the potential of your site. The benefits of fortunate landform features such as beautiful mountains or watercourses may be fully realised. Whilst building from the ground up may be the ideal, Feng Shui may be used to enhance an existing space. Prior to a consultation I will ask you for the following details.

1. The construction date within a 20 year period
2. The birth date of occupants
3. If you have a to scale floor plan.
4. If major renovations have occurred.
5. Whether the use of the building is commercial, residential or industrial

Once this information is gathered I will assess its impact on the occupants and their activities. A Feng Shui audit is undertaken and a written report detailing the major recommendations to augment the positive aspects of the building or home is supplied. Pre-purchase inspections

Qi Activations

Sometimes the atmosphere or energy of your home or office feels stuck or tired. This may mean you lack motivation, feel stuck or apathetic or your business may be in a slump. Clutter accumulates quickly or you just feel you need a boost.

This is because the flow of qi has become stagnant and no longer feels fresh or new.

Three times a year there is a two week period in which the Qi energy can be activated or stimulated. This raises the level of freshness for a house and is especially useful to stimulate business activity. The Activation takes the form of a ceremony conducted by a Feng Shui Master at the right time.

These activations provide the perfect timing for house warmings, product launches, staff parties, moving house or simply to create activity and to shift old patterns and issues. There are two Master Feng Shui activations. These are called the Great Sun and the Great Moon formulae.

The Great Sun formula activates the yang qi or prosperity; It is especially beneficial for businesses. The Great Moon formula is used to heal, bond and attract harmony in relationships.

Site Selection

Even the most beautifully appointed house or ultra modern corporate office would be unfortunate if situated in an inappropriate location. Choosing a site from the beginning allows you to take advantage of the optimal Feng Shui arrangement.

Process

The heart of a consultation is based around the mapping of the intangible living energy known as qi (pronounced chee), the interaction of the occupants with the qi, and the interaction of the qi with the physical environment. Depending on the service required the procedure would alter slightly. Firstly, I will determine the facing direction of the building using a Lou Pan compass or I will direct you through the process if an on-line consultation is required.

An authentic Feng Shui consultation requires an accurate compass reading.

Once the facing direction is ascertained, I will then construct a "Star Chart". Your Star Chart is like a map of the living energy of the building. The star chart will reveal the type and quality of qi within each sector. I will then survey the surrounding landscape. This information combined with the location of the front door and the interior design will enable me to identify the Feng Shui influences of the building on you. The sectors responsible for current and future prosperity as well as the energies responsible for health and human resources may be identified. I will then advise the appropriate remedies in order to enhance the positive influences and to dissolve any harmful ones.

Water features like aquariums, fountains and ponds activate positive energy.

Recommendations may also include the appropriate colour schemes, room usage and the placement of furniture. Renovation advice may include landscaping, additions such as decks or new entrances and creating open plan areas by removing walls. The recommendations depend on your individual needs, the service required and the necessary Feng Shui activators .
